Lifeline encourages people, both young and old to consider volunteering at a Lifeline Shop.
All of our Volunteers are cherished and new volunteers are welcome.

Assist with the efficient running of our Lifeline shops.
We encourage both men and women to apply.
Duties include sorting, pricing and merchandising.
Drive the Lifeline truck to pick up furniture donations.
Load and unload the Lifeline Truck.
Move and lift donated furniture items.
Volunteers have the knowledge that they are helping the global environment as well as the local community.
Shopping at Lifeline is environmentally friendly and reduces the amount of textiles and household items delivered to land fill.
Lifeline is making an appeal to the community for more people to volunteer their time and services to help achieve the vision of ‘an Australia free of suicide’.
The training is done in such a special way that I feel inspired and empowered to see life in a different light. Now I can give help and support to others, which is so rewarding.
The training exceeded my expectations and I have experienced great personal development since completing it and getting on the phones. I have gained more than I could ever have thought.
