Every sale from our shops helps Lifeline provide support to people experiencing their darkest moments. Your generosity directly contributes to keeping these services available, accessible, and free to those who need them most.
Lifeline Shops rely on the sale of donated items. We do not have facilities to wash, repair, or restore damaged goods.

There are some items we’re unable to take for safety, quality, or regulatory reasons. These include:

Myth: Lifeline washes or repairs donated items.
Fact: We do not have washing or repair facilities. Items must be clean and ready for sale.
Myth: Lifeline gives donated clothing directly to people in need.
Fact: Lifeline Shops exist to raise funds for suicide prevention services by selling donated goods.
Myth: “Staff can fix it.”
Fact: Damaged items increase waste costs and reduce the funds available for services.
